An Insight Into Fitness Retreat Camps

There is no doubt whatsoever regarding this as many medical experts and research analysts have also stressed upon the issue and published several journals as a contribution for the cause. You might as well find most of these journals as well as books in almost every library you come across or as well as across several websites online in the internet. There are no shortcuts to gain it otherwise. You ought to lose something to gain something and you need to dedicate yourself for the cause to reap fruitful benefits. I do understand that we all live in a hectic world working 24x7 and finding time has been one of the biggest concerns for us. Of course we barely find time to even eat or sleep. How is that healthy? Besides we all do it to earn more comforts in life. How are we even using those comforts when we barely have time to sleep or eat peacefully? Besides the way we are leading our lives, we are heading towards a dead end where there is no turning back and it will be too late to even crawl back.

Better late than never suits the scenario much better than others. Realize its importance and start focusing upon what is required to be done. You have several fitness service providing centers in the market. You need to be wiser to choose the best that suits your needs. Reputation of the center that join is of at most importance to provide quality service so that the weight you lose is lost efficiently, comfortably without any side effects or health related issues. Also the weight you lose must be permanent as what would be the point of whole process otherwise; all the efforts would only go to waste.

I would advise you to look into fitness retreat camps. They are the best for your needs. They have become quite popular off late thanks to the reputation they hold as well as the quality of service and ambiance they provide. The retreat centers have got everything you would need. You can feel at home and do what is necessary at a comfortable pace. You can also meet new people with whom you are most likely to work together and thus making new friends is quite common. The retreat spas are generally like heaven according to many clients who had taken the program earlier. The food they provide is quite exquisite, delicious and nutritional by all means. They have qualified trainers to assist you with exercises or conduct the programs and trained dietitians to manage your diet chart. You also have medically qualified doctors in case you are put through any medical issue. Also the exercises you perform are absolutely safe as they are conducted with barely minimum weight and most exercises conducted are usually outdoor activities in the form of games amidst beautiful nature. The group part of it also makes it fun and competitive which motivates you better to concentrate and dedicate yourself more.

Making The Army Fitness Requirements

If you want to be a commando then you are going to have to increase your fitness. When it comes to getting in shape for the army, there are three very important body movements that will make your basic training and army fitness requirements a lot easier to handle when you get there.

1. Running - Running and marching long distances with weight on your back is how the majority of army units get around. So you will be doing a lot of it. Some units have troop carriers but you will still be doing a lot of running, trench assaults and closing into a position. Marching will come in whenever a big move or long silent patrol is needed.

With both of these physical activities, doing the thing you are training for is how to get better at them. Start slow and back off when aches and pains start. Heal, get stronger and then go further and faster as soon as your body allows.

Of course while in operation or on a tour, you can't readily stop for aches and pains but while you can while training, you should.

Also take into consideration that you will be doing all this in hard bottomed boots and not soft cushioned runners like you may be used to as a civilian.

2. Push-ups - Push-ups play more of a role in your actual training during boot camp and other courses but increasing upper body pushing strength is always a useful thing to do. You never know when you will need to push anything or anyone heavy around.

Besides practical uses, push-ups are a pass/fail activity during many armies recruitment process. Start on your knees and when you reach 20, do full push-ups. Increase your numbers by working just short of muscular failure once a day.

3. Pull ups - Lifting yourself over objects will come in handy time and time again. Pull ups will most likely be done during the recruitment process depending on what country you are in as well. You can increase your ability to do pull ups by starting only doing the very top half of the movement and once you reach twenty, cut the reps and go for the full range of motion.

Climbing into a truck, getting out of a trench and getting into and through a window are all activities that will use your pull up strength. Most obstacle courses have a table top, wall and rope or cargo net as well that will require pulling strength.

Not only are the above mentioned activities used for most countries army fitness testing but getting good at these three will work your whole body and make it substantially easier for you to master many other movements as a side effect.

Remember, you may be training to simply get into the army. You may also be training to have the fitness to perform at 100% when you are actually in operations. Either way, now is the time to start and keep increasing your level of capabilities so they are there when you need them.

Physical Health and Fitness

What is Physical Health and fitness? Before you know how to attain this you have to first determine what it means to you. It's my opinion physical wellbeing is possessing sufficient energy to live your life free without needing to stress about being unwell, sore or simply feeling too sluggish to do anything. Be assured that even skinny or regular sized folks can be very unhealthy. A great metabolism doesn't make you a healthy person.

Motivation. This might be the most difficult thing to overcome with regards to becoming or remaining healthy. Men and women are frequently over weight or lethargic because they just can't get motivated to get out there and do the exercising they are aware they should. So how do you get motivated?

There are a few simple ways to get motivated to workout. First of all you can workout with a good friend, spouse or even your kids. This approach is very effective as even on days when you don't feel like exercising they are able to provide you with that tiny push you need to just do it anyhow. And there will be days like that, believe me.

Secondly you could attempt some simple subconscious triggers to help you get motivated and remain motivated. Looking at oneself in the mirror every day to remind oneself the reason why you're exercising can be effective. Just take a look at your self and picture what your body may be like when you've reached your physical health and fitness goal. And while you're standing in front of the mirror speak to yourself. Say "I will go for that walk tomorrow." 10 times to yourself. Even when you don't believe it. It is an established method of motivation, utilized by some of the worlds most successful businessmen and women.
Exercise to improve your physical health.

Exercising is the key. Cardiovascular exercise is easily the most effective way to stay in good shape. Walking for 15-30 minutes each day is a good method to raise the overall levels of energy each day. So if you're only starting out take a stroll around your block, if that is too far walk to the corner and back again once or twice. Should you get bored quickly you could just walk for 15 minutes in a direction then change and walk back home. By doing this you can explore new streets and keep the walk interesting. Or if you go shopping a lot walk down every department even if you don't need something there.

Some other great exercises for general physical health and fitness include cycling, running, swimming, martial arts, dancing (zumba). Sports like Squash or Badminton are good also. These will provide you with a quick paced hour or two per week of intense workout, that with time will build up your endurance and core level of fitness.
Physical Health and the food you eat.

And lastly diet is important. The less 'bad' food you consume the simpler it's going to be to maintain a good physical health standard. Try changing out your white bread for wholemeal. Change your eating habits. Eat only until you're full and place the rest inside the refrigerator for a snack. Try eating five times a day, this has been proven to trigger your metabolism and help with the digestion of food. You might also try including more fruits and vegetables in your diet.

As usual a good diet and regular exercise is the key to good health. Life is waiting for you to live it and good physical health and fitness will make sure you can for years to come.

Health and Fitness Is a Decision

My 90 Day Body Transformation: Where I started

February 16th, 2011, I started a 90 day fitness transformation because I started to feel slow, tired, unhealthy, and in the worst shape of my life. Their are many programs out there that you can choose from and I recommend to go out and find the one that fits you best.

I have always grown up being active in life throughout grade school and most of my 20's. I grew up in Martial arts, swimming through high school, and tennis. At the age of 30, I started to let myself go and eat on the go where ever my busy life took me to eat. I didn't choose what my body needed to stay healthy, instead I chose the food that I wanted emotionally. That can lead to a death trap in most lives and mine wasn't any different.

9 months after my little sister introduced me to an in home cardio program, I started to make a choice to change my life health wise. The first go around was about a 50% commitment and guess what I got out of it? A 25% result! My nutrition wasn't matching my fitness and what I found out later down the road is that if you want to totally transform your body in both health and fitness and feel better on a daily basis, then you must commit to nutrition. In most people's opinion including mine, nutrition is 80% of the battle. Without proper eating and a consistent schedule, you will be wasting your time.

That is where my battle was, in finding time to make nutrition and fitness happen in my life. I worked Graveyard 2am-8am. Took kids to school and worked my day job from 9am-4pm. When I got home, i was tired and had to sleep to get ready for the next shift which started at 2am again. The truth is, everyone has a busy schedule and where most people fail to even start to improve their life is in the initial decision making to just do it. Just like the popular Nike Saying,"Just Do It!" No matter your schedule and how busy you are, you are not suppose to put you health on the line. Without your health, how good are you? The answer is, not too good. Why do we work so hard and neglect our bodies, cause we are all mentally trained that we must work hard to stay up with life's busy schedule and then we deserve to relax after the 5pm rush hour, or happy hour.

You have to Make a Decision to Change your Life

Okay, enough about that, let's get down to fitness and health. First you must make the decision to work just as hard on your health than your finances, we already said that. Second, you must make a commitment to do your chosen program no matter what your busy schedule is. Everybody can make time for something they really feel is important in life and people easily can do the complete opposite and procrastinate on the things they think they can live without. Without health, you won't live as long to enjoy what you work so hard for. To the point, but it's true. Next, third, you must be consistent and believe you will succeed.

Preparing yourself is important. This means choosing the right fitness program that is proven to get you the results you are looking for, planning out your mealsaccording to your program requirements, logging your workouts to see your improvement and letting it be a guide to improvement as each week goes on. These 3 points are vital to know before you start. I love the saying,"If you don't know where you're going, How do you know where to Start?"

You Must Know Good vs Bad Proteins, Carbs, and Fats

Proper nutrition will maximize your results more than you will know. If your not eating right, you are wasting your time, and at the end of your fitness program, you will be dissappointed in your results and quit for life cause you will think they don't work. Then you will also look at everyone else's success story and it will bring you down and make you say that it is a scam, when the truth is, you scammed yourself.

Okay what are the things you can eat that will help you and things that won't...........

Good Proteins that will help in Fat loss are Chix Breast, Turkey, Cottage Cheese, Egg Whites, Crab, and Salmon.

Good Carbohydrates include sprouted grain bread, rice spelt, millet, quinoa, sweet potato with a little butter and cinnamon, and all fruits and vegetables are good to go(the good fiber that are in the fruits and Veggies will actually help you to burn fat faster).

How about Fats, yes there are good fats that will help you burn fat faster by eating them. These are avocados, all natural peanut butter(I love PB2), almonds, olive oil, coconut oil, and raw nuts. Good fats will help you burn fat and bad fats will store fat inside you.

What i have learned to stay away from are foods high in sugar and processed foods. If you want your liver break down fats in your body, you must stop feeding it processed foods like High fructose syrup, artificial sweeteners, and hydrogenated oils.

Now you have an idea of the foods that will help you and the foods that will kill you. One thing is for sure is that whatever you eat, you must enjoy. Just because the food is healthy, doesn't mean it doesn't taste good. Also, make sure you are eating the right portions in each meal. Usually a portion is the size of your fist. The amount of proteins and carbs that you should be eating per day depends on your weight minus your body fat. So if you have 20% body fat, times that by your total body weight, then minus that number off your total body weight, that is how many grams you need per day in proteins and carbs. (example: 20% X 180lbs= 36lbs of fat inside your body. 180lbs-36lbs of fat=144lbs of lean body weight. You need to eat 144 grams of protein and 144 grams of Carbs per day) Now divide the total grams (144) by how many meals you eat in a day and that is your number (in this scenario, someone who eats 5 times a day will need 28.8 grams each meal to reach 144 for the day)

He has put together his blog to share with you his fitness and nutritional choices that helped him gain maximum results along the way. Visit http://www.tonybanawa.wordpress.com/. Fitness is a choice and it is also a way to raise your kids up making the right nutritional decisions for them selves starting at a very young age. One way that Tony was able to stay on path to proper nutrition was to pick a meal replacement that I could use on the go. Everyone is busy, so most people with a dedicated nutrition plan will need a meal replacement. Choose wisely, and make sure it is one that takes care of your daily necessities as well as promotes a healthy digestive system which is key in fitness.

Top Ten Summer Health and Fitness Tips!

Summer is fast approaching, so here is our top ten list for making this summer your fitness and healthiest yet!

1. Set a goal. It could be to run a 5k or to lose a stone. Then break your goal down into smaller chunks, such as a weekly training plan or a weekly weight loss target. Write your goals and targets down and put them somewhere you can see it everyday as a reminder to keep going.

2. Share your goal with friends and family, you could even go one step further a post your goal on Facebook. This will make you accountable for your actions and you are more likely to not give up.

3. Join a club or fitness class. There are loads of free or community based fitness clubs or classes in your town, where likeminded people to you are hanging out and getting fit. If you mingle with people that are trying to achieve the same goal as you then you instantly have a new support network and also make new friends and potential business acquaintances.

4. Plan your meals. You wouldn't go on holiday without working out where you were going to stay, how to were going to get to your destination and what sort of currency you would need to take. Good nutrition planning is no different. Plan what you will eat for breakfast, lunch and tea, then work out what snacks you will have and bag them all up and take them to work with you. We love snacking on nuts which are easy to stick in a food bag and put in your top drawer of your desk. It will help you stay away from the vending machines when you get a sudden food craving.

5. Drink water, then some more, then some more! Your body is made up of 70% water so if you dehydrate the body it will not function correctly and you will begin to feel lethargic and run down. Take a 1 litre bottle of water to work with you and sip continuously throughout the day.

6. Get some fresh air. How many of you suffer from the 3pm energy slump? During your lunch break get outside for 20 minutes are fresh air and oxygen. Vitamin D from sunlight will help to alleviate the afternoon energy dip. Encourage someone from work to join you then you can catch up on the work gossip.

7.Ditch the energy vampires! If you are surrounded by negative people then they will eventually drain you of your energy and make you feel down, tired and negative yourself. Research has shown that you tend to take on the behaviours of the 5 people in your life that you spend most time with, therefore make sure those individuals are positive, ambitious, confident and happy people.

8. Try a new activity. Whether its hiking, biking or Zumba. Do something once a week that takes you out of your comfort zone and challenges your mind and your body. If you feel self conscious about trying new things alone then take a friend with you.

9. Take time to relax. In our busy lives there is very little time to actually relax and chill out, and watching the soaps does not count! Join a yoga or pilates group, lie on your bed and little to music, or read a book. Do something that you enjoy and is purely just about you.

10. Get plenty of sleep. Sleep is one of the most important aspects of a healthy body, without it the body cannot function correctly and you begin to feel run down. Don't go to bed directly after watching TV, try to leave 30 minutes before switching the television off and going to bed as your brain is still processing the images and information it has just seen. Make sure your bedroom is dark and not too hot so that the body can completely relax.

Don't try and do all of our top ten tips at once, implement them over a number of weeks and see a fresher, healthier and happier you!
