Influence People With Subliminal Persuasion

Subliminal is something that is done unconsciously.

Every day people are motivated and influenced in a way that they do not even directly realise. Their subconscious is targeted and they are influenced and persuaded. This is known as subliminal persuasion.

There is a debate as to whether they really work on not. There is no substantial evidence to prove this but majorly the fact that there is an effect is not something that is denied. This is effective if there is a proper reading of the people and understanding what they want.

Advantages

The science of persuasion is of great help. It helps in conveying the message and influencing in a very subtle manner. It is not on the face but is very indirect.

Example-

1. A sales person can very effectively even by his body language can use this for persuading people to buy his product.
2. A marketer can communicate the message that he wants to communicate
3. A teacher can influence the students to follow the right path in life through this kind of persuasion.
4. In order to get the best from his employees, the manager uses this kind of persuasion.
5. In advertising, with the help of this communication is made effective.

It is for help everywhere- in school, at home or at work place.

Let us understand as to why it works in influencing and persuading people.

The reasons are as follows:

1. Human beings have the tendency to respond to things by connecting and associating to it. People link to stories in a better way then they link to mere facts. Whatever touches their heart actually shapes their behaviour.

2. People have the tendency to think of themselves first and care for themselves before caring for anyone else. Thus the subject that a person wants to communicate can be easily done by elaborating how it will help the person and how it be prove to be advantageous.

3. Human beings are social. They cannot stay in isolation. There is a need for them to communicate and interact on regular basis with others.

People listen to others and also have the need for others to listen to them. Most of the people are not aware of the technique that is being used is hypnotic persuasion. While the brains are thinking is aware of what is happening but what it doesn't know it that the unconscious brain is catching some signals.

It includes the following methods:

1. Smell

By locating a bakery shop that makes yummy cookies in the centre area of the shopping mall is a technique of using subliminal persuasion. People get attracted to visit the place any buy their favourites.

2. Sight

This uses the images and visuals for persuasion and influence. For example- the effect of a print advertisement on a consumer is an example of use of sight technique.

3. Sound

The type of music and the volume and intensity of the music has influence on the mind. The loud music can make a person start dancing.

4. Touch and taste

This is also a technique of subliminal persuasion. The effects of this technique are still being measured and evaluated.

Thus if you have rightly understood the subliminal technique, start influencing the people around you because you are getting influenced by it every day.

Handling The Special Requirements Of Highly Sensitive People

Often, we come across people who react differently to situations than the average person. Their levels of endurance seem quite low, and they have unusual physical and interpersonal sensitivities, which can be hard for others to understand. They are categorized medically as highly sensitive people (HSP).

Highly sensitive people have different needs because they are biologically different. According to a leading authority on HSP, Elaine Aron, one in every five persons is a highly sensitive person. While there is a common misconception that HSP's exhibit sensitive symptoms because of high emotionality, the reality is quite different. The difference lies with the sensitive's nervous system, which absorbs more sensory input than it does in a normal person.

For highly sensitive people, special care must be taken to handle their stress and health-related issues. This can prove to be highly challenging in the absence of proper resources and knowledge. They have many inherent disorders that are made worse by the effects of stress. It can affect their decision-making abilities and severely hamper their ability to function normally in their professional as well as personal lives. There is an imperative need to draw up an effective stress management program to minimize the stress disorders problems that they have develop.

If you look at global figures, the number of HSP's is around 15 to 20 percent of the population, and that amounts to a whopping one billion people. When viewed from an entirely different perspective, HSP sensitivity provides individuals with the capability to see and experience what others may miss. Non-HSP people may not have the sensitivity to see a particular situation from a different angle. As a result, HSP's play an important role in improving the quality of our lives through their capacity for nuanced insights, though because they are often under-appreciated, they are often not aware of their value to society.

Highly sensitive people must be educated to realize that their biology is quite different from others. It is quite possible that the trait runs in families and that they may suffer from genetic diseases too. It is extremely necessary to understand their biology for maintaining good health, both physical and mental, for such individuals. As they are oversensitive to stimulus received by the central nervous system, its overstimulation advertently or inadvertently can cause potentially serious health conditions.

Highly sensitive people can have problems with bright lights, noise, certain types of fabrics and even electromagnetic devices. They can feel uncomfortable in a crowd, and their introverted behavior at social gatherings can be hard for friends and family members to understand.

Because of the susceptibility of their nervous systems to stress and genetic diseases, stress reducers are imperative to minimize and prevent such conditions. Quality self-care is the greatest need for sensitive individuals since illness can quickly get out of hand because of the lack of natural defense mechanisms. Alternative health care systems can be used by highly sensitive people to protect them from inadvertent self-abuse and to improve the functions of their nervous systems.
